UZLAC Bi-monthly meeting: The UZLAC monthly meeting at held on the date 27.09.2022 Ms. Sabiha Kawser, Information officer, Savar Upazila and member of Upazila Legal Aid Committee, savar said that at the date of 21 August 2022 two women came to my office with various forms of domestic abuse, I talk to them they are interested in litigation but they are not financially well off. I spoke to the field officer of the PPJ Savar, Dhaka project about the matter of the victim issue of my office. He spoke to the victim and took her to the District Legal Aid Office on the date 24 August 2022. District Legal Aid Officer Mr. A.K.M Raquibul Hasan heard and recorded the complaint of the victim and fixed the settlement date on 28 September 2022. I like that the work of that District Legal Aid Office has taken prompt action, later we can send more helpless people to the District Legal aid Office.
